Continental Drift 1983 as installed @ Twin Palms Gallery, S.F., CA. Fir, plywood, paint, mahogany, paper & mechanism. 134" x 84" x 88". The Peninsula (arm) of this construction swings away from the wall at an imperceptible rate (traversing an arc of 45 degrees in 2 hrs). Installation here included the 10' cut-away walls,trim to match the gallery's, a 20 page Owner's Manual, the special gauges necessary for proper set-up and operation and a scale model. back to top
