| The Second Story: a Twice Failed Tale 1991 At Los Angeles Contemporary Exhibitions (LACE), L.A., CA Made of pine, canvas, latex, music wire and nylon line it measured 14' x 36' x 40'. Pumping the bellows in one room briefly animates latex bags & sticks in another. Names of parts, commentary and instructions are stamped into the wood. This installation was an effort to resolve questions concerning the origins of life. How, if everything has a cause, can there ever be a beginning? |
