A Prurient Interest 1999
At the Museum of Contemporay Art, Lake Worth FLA.

Made of Pine, hemlock , latex, and music wire. It measured 76" (tall ) x 24" x 24" (base).

Squeezing a latex bulb which dangles below the windowless box makes it scratch at an itch you can never reach.

This piece is an homage to Jean Tinguely who once said something like:"Making art is not so much about having fun as it is like having an itch. You scratch it and you feel better for a while."
